What’s the role?

It’s an exciting time in our Corporate division. With a new leadership team and renewed momentum, we’re expanding our proposition by strengthening our trading expertise and creating a new 360 Dealing Desk.

As part of this growth, we’re looking for an experienced Senior 360 Dealer, who will drive new customer acquisition and maximise the lifetime value of all customers they acquire – from onboarding to strategically advising on currency risk and everything in between.

In a nutshell:

• Self-source and close all opportunities – leveraging your existing network, effective lead sourcing strategies, and Marketing support to successfully onboard and expand target customers

• Manage day-to-day FX dealing activity for your self-sourced portfolio, ensuring timely and accurate execution across all products (spot, forward, and options, where applicable)

• Conduct frequent business reviews to delve into customer requirements and understand where Lumon can provide most value

• Provide proactive service to customers, responding to queries around pricing, execution, market movement and hedging strategies

• Deliver real-time market insights, and trade strategy and execution to customers, positioning Lumon as a trusted FX partner

• Work within a structured framework to ensure compliance with internal policies, processes and regulatory obligations (e.g. MIFID)

• Demonstrate excellence in trade booking, compliance checks, and working within risk limits

• Help identify areas for process improvement, efficiency, and risk management across Sales and Dealing

• Advise on the future 360 Dealing Team structure and strategy

What will you need to be successful in this role?

• An unrelenting focus on the needs of the customer, both now and in the future

• Proven ability to self-source, close, and expand your own portfolio – no inbound leads or existing accounts will be assigned to this desk

• Strong understanding of the FX markets, particularly in spot and forward contracts; familiarity with options is a plus

• A commercial mindset and ability to translate market moves into actionable insight for customers

• Excellent communication skills — clear, concise and confident when speaking with customers or internal stakeholders

• Experience working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive trading environment

• A team-player mentality with a willingness to support colleagues and help develop junior team members

• Competency in using trading platforms and CRM systems

What else would be helpful?

• 5-10 years in the FX industry

• CF30 or RDR Level 4 qualifications

• Understanding of complex hedging

• Particular expertise in a sector or vertical niche

• Experience within financial services
