At Lumon, we look to make our hiring process as straightforward, seamless and transparent as possible, so we can really understand your strengths and skills that will make you successful in the role.
We want to give you as much support and guidance as we can, so have created a guide on what to expect, how to prepare for an interview at Lumon and our commitment to you during the hiring process.
Our interview process tends to take around two to three weeks to complete and is split across three stages. This may vary depending on the role, however you can expect to go through all or some of the stages during the hiring process.
Phase One: Getting Started

Application Review
If you are a suitable match for the position, a member of our Talent team will be in touch to schedule an exploratory call to find out more about your experience.
They will be your first point of contact throughout the process. -
Talent Discovery Call
If your profile matches the role, a member of our Talent team will reach out to learn more about your experience, suitability, motivations to join Lumon and for us to share insights more on the role and Lumon.
Phase Two: Deeper Conversations

Hiring Manager Interview
We’ll schedule a 30 to 45 minute video call/on-site focused on your experience and approach to the role. For leadership roles, you may meet an additional stakeholder.

Take home task
For most positions, we´ll ask you to complete a case study or technical assessment, which will give you a real-life example of the work you´ll do at Lumon. You’ll present your completed task and walk through your thinking during a live session with your future teammates.

Final In-Person Interview
60 minutes onsite interview – where you will have the opportunity to meet the hiring manager and another team member who will be assessing your fit for the position and culturally, which are equally as important to the team. This is also your chance to interview us to see if you are a good fit for Lumon.
Phase Three: Final Fit

We assess how your skills, approach, and mindset align with the role and team.

Once everything is in place, you’ll receive your detailed offer with all the information you need to make your decision from the talent team.

Checks and Onboarding
You've accepted our offer. We'll now carry out reference and background checks and get everything ready for your first day.
Preparing for an Interview
