How long does the hiring process usually take?
From submitting your application to accepting an offer, the process usually takes four to six weeks. It’s sometimes less depending on the role.

Can I apply for more than one role at a time?
Yes, you can apply for multiple roles. It’s also worth noting that if we see your application come through for one role and think you’d be better suited for another, we’ll tell you.

What should I expect in the interview process?
It varies slightly by role, but generally includes an Exploratory Call, an interview with the Hiring Manager, and a final in-person interview with an assessment. You can see the full breakdown in our Hiring Journey here.

What is the format of the assessment?
It depends on the role, since it's designed to reflect the actual work you'd be doing. Sometimes it's a task completed on the day of the interview; other times, it's a presentation you prepare in advance. Either way, we'll tell you the format ahead of time, so you'll always know if there's anything to prepare beforehand.

Will I get feedback if I'm not successful?
Yes, we always aim to share feedback from the Interview with the Hiring Manager stage onwards. For earlier stages, we're unable to provide specific feedback due to the volume of applications we receive.

Do you take feedback on your recruitment process?
Yes, it's how we keep improving. If you're unsuccessful from the Interview with the Hiring Manager stage onwards, or if you're offered the role, you'll receive a short survey about your experience.

What does hybrid work look like at Lumon?
Most roles in the UK work 3 days in the office and 2 from home, if the role you are applying falls outside that, we'll clarify it during the recruitment process. For our other locations, arrangements are agreed locally and we suggest asking the hiring manager for specifics on the role you're applying for.

Does Lumon offer learning and development opportunities?
Yes, there are real opportunities to grow, through mentoring, on the job training, or exposure to new projects, depending on the team and the role. If this matters to you, it's worth asking the hiring manager during the interview what growth looks like for the specific role you're applying for.
